Kenneth Carroll

Board Member

Joined the board in 2021

Sales and Operations Director of the family firm John D Carroll Catering. Following the firm’s acquisition, Kenneth decided to establish his own company in 1994.

Carroll Food Services is one of the largest independent contract Catering companies in Ireland. With its recent acquisition of Premier Dining's portfolio of clients in 2017, Carroll's has broadened its reach into the business and industry, education and public sectors.

Carol Wheeler

Carol has a background in business administration and large scale project management in both Dublin and London. More recently she was practice manager for a large, progressive GP training practice in North Dublin serving a disadvantaged community. She brings extensive expertise in healthcare operations and community engagement. As a board member of several schools and community organisations she has dedicated many years to supporting her community especially highlighting the needs of marginalised groups while also actively fundraising and volunteering for various charities. She has worked with the NGO Standing Voice since 2014 fundraising and helping coordinate a skin cancer prevention programme for people with albinism in Malawi, visiting twice a year to run clinics and surgical camps.

David Lynch

Experience: Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute and owner/CEO of Capital Cover Group Ltd, insurance brokers and underwriting agents on behalf of Lloyd’s of London. Established in 2000, Capital Cover Group employed 30 people when it was sold in 2018 to Arachas Corporate Brokers.

David Lynch is also a Board member of an educational institution and volunteers at committee advisory level on a number of local and overseas charities ands NGOs.

Clive Jackson

Clive has devoted the majority of his professional career to the event industry, specializing in large-scale events that encompass various aspects such as event management, creative design, and logistics, both in Ireland and on an international scale, working across the globe. His notable projects include the launches of Digifone, Digicel, and the 1916 commemorative events, as well as working with Glastonbury and Formula 1 teams and Premier football teams. In recent years, he has transitioned into business management and the implementation of systems and procedures.

Roisin O’Shea

Roisin (BCL, MBA, Dip Corp Gov)  has over 20 years experience in the food industry having worked in senior commercial roles in both indigenous and multinational food companies in Ireland and the UK.  Following a role as Head of Food Sector in Bank of Ireland, she now works as Senior Investment Manager with the Irish Strategic Investment Fund.

 

Niall Kearney

Experience: Chartered Engineer with 37 years’ experience including 13 years as Managing Director of Multi-disciplinary Engineering Design Company. Broad range of experience across Residential, Commercial and Industrial building construction.

Nadine Watters

Experience: Chartered Accountant with with 40 years’ experience working in professional services . Broad range of experience working with both indigenous and multi-national organisations operations in a variety of areas including manufacturing, logistics , distribution , retailing and charities

Angela Leigh-Doyle

Board Member

Experience: Professional Banker with extensive experience in business and retail banking, change management and digital transformation.

Dr. Katrina Lawlor

Experience: former academic and Director/Dean of Faculty of Business in DIT and TU Dublin.  She had a significant role in achieving the strategic priorities of the University and the Faculty.  The Faculty's mission focused on growing both undergraduate and postgraduate profile and external engagement with industry.  Prior to her role as Director/Dean of Faculty of Business, she was Head of Graduate Business School, Head of Research and Lecturer. She has served on a wide range of committees including Chair of  Dun Laoghaire County Enterprise Board.

Debbie Bailey
